Language Arts
The students will be introduced to five new vocabulary words per week. These words are also added to our word wall for the children to use during reading and writing activities. The students will bring their words home in a bag. Please choose at least 2 of the activities to complete on the ticket. The completed tickets are placed in a box and prizes are drawn for during the week.
Spelling words will be added each week. There will be ten new per week with two review words. A pretest will be given on Thursday of each week. If the child misspells a word on Thursday, a final test will be given on Friday.
