I am the Lead Special Education Teacher at Deubrook Area Schools in White, SD.  The school is involved in with inclusion. We started with an inclusion assistant in just two classes. This year, we will have an inclusion assistant in 15 classrooms. We have seen some big benefits from inclusion and hope to continue building the program.

I am also the Lead Junior Class Advisor which means I am in charge of Prom and all the concessions stands at every home event.  I also am assistant Annual Staff Advisor and team teach adult computer classes with my husband.

I have earned my MOUS (Microsoft Office User Specialist) Mastership national certification for Office 2000 and Office XP.

I am also involved with and am interested in ADD/ADHD.  I have dealt with this issue both on a professional and personal basis.

In December of 2007, I passed my National Certification tests and became an EMT-B and am a member of the White Ambulance Service.

On a personal level, I enjoy spending time with my family and camping.  My hobbies include reading, crocheting, crafts and working on the computer.
