In Biology we will study ecology, the scientific method, cell parts, cell functions, cell energy, mitosis, meiosis, inheritance, genetics, DNA, biotechnology, and we participate in the local science fair. There will be note taking, discussions, activities, presentations and labs.
Click here to see some some pictures of protists that we found in pond water.

SUPPLIES: Tablet PC, notebook/paper, folder, pen/pencil, textbook. At home you will need supplies for your science fair project during second semester, markers, rubber cement, card table, poster support, etc.

I expect all assignments and labs to be done by all students. These need to be turned in on time since late work will earn fewer points. Students are expected to follow directions that are given.

MAKE UP WORK is the responsibility of the student. Usually one day is allowed for makeup work due to an excused absence.
